ABOUT ME
DEBORAH’S STORY

Deborah has spent decades learning about spirituality by listening to others. She is curious about the forces influencing the human spiritual experience and how they shape our identities. She likes to write about and explore this concept through audio drama.

Deborah Louise Levin, born and raised in Toronto, Canada, says she is grateful and humbled by the force that shaped her identity as a psychic, author, and podcaster. She describes this force as supernatural. Deborah recalls a terrifying encounter with a malevolent entity during a paranormal investigation that rekindled her interest in writing and inspired her to revive an old radio drama she had worked on in the late 1980s:

“Creative writing had not been a priority, not for many years, and became my “dark night of the soul.” This incident scared the **** out of me! I decided that now was the time to write a supernatural horror story or rather, what “it” decided,” Deborah laughs nervously.

Deborah now shares her otherworldly experiences through creative writing and audio drama. Inspired by her childhood love of gothic literature, BBC radio dramas, and 1970s movies, her imaginative supernatural short stories are darkly humorous and offer profound insight into the realm of the human spiritual experience. You will hear these stories on Deborah’s podcast, The Dream Crucible.

Deborah revived her idea in 2022, dubbing it The Dream Crucible.
